What makes the L1® portable line array so different?
It begins with the shape. Each L1 system contains a column of many closely spaced drivers mounted in a tall, slim enclosure. This unusual design has profound effects on the sound similar to what you see in concert speakers hanging above the stage.
Consistently clear sound levels
Because of its shape, the L1 system projects sound waves that expand out and to the sides, but sends very little up and down. Sound spreads more evenly across the stage and into the audience, and the sound level drops off much more slowly than from a conventional speaker.
Great for events where you have a large investment on decorations and aesthetics and don't want to worry about the speakers clashing with the look and decorations. Perfect for weddings, style shows, small and very large venues. Highly requested by wedding planners because the speakers are discreet and not obtrusive to the eyes.
The Bose L1 package is the lightest and most attractive system we use. One system can accommodate up to 500 people. 2 systems as shown in the above photo can accommodate more than 1000 people. Additional bass cabinets are ideal for larger crowds.
Traditional speakers and subwoofers are available as an option for those wanting extra pounding bass and a hopping dancefloor.
